While the Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion has just published the final calendar for the men's Paris Fashion Week, scheduled from January 17 to 22, it appears one name is missing. Y/Project has withdrawn from this season. In a brief press release, the ready-to-wear brand, headed by Glenn Martens, announced that "this season the Y/Project show will be held during the women's Paris Fashion Week."

However, the house specified that the sales campaign will be maintained from January 21 to 26, during the men's week, as initially planned.

In January 2021, when Glenn Martens had just taken over as Diesel's creative director, he announced a change of strategy for the designer brand he has been running since 2013, deciding to slow down the pace.

Starting with the autumn-winter 2021/22 season, Y/Project merged the men's and women's collections into one, and presented it twice a year, in January and June during Paris Fashion Week.

In its release, the label does not explain if this change of calendar concerns just this season or if it is more permanent. This change has probably been brought about to accommodate the Flemish designer's busy schedule.
