Vans offers a capsule collection inspired by the original Star Wars trilogy

Vans presents a new capsule collection called “Vault by Vans x Star Wars,” inspired by characters from the famous trilogy.

Vans creates a collection that should attract trilogy fans to the fifty-year-old brand.

The Vault by Vans x Star Wars collection reinterprets the original Classic model using two rare Vans prints from the ‘80s, incorporating Star Wars characters from the Evil Empire.

The vibrant Miami print includes a silhouette of the four-legged Imperial transport vehicle to create a collage effect. As for the Pirate print, it explores the Dark Side with an updated design.

Images of Darth Vader, Stormtrooper helmets and lightsabers replace the original skull and sword graphics.

With this collection, Vault by Vans again demonstrates its attention to detail: the graphics are understated, the woven labels display the logos of both brands, and the unique shoeboxes will no doubt become collectors’ items.

Indeed, each version has been produced in fewer than 300 pairs and is available in only six stores worldwide: Colette, Firmament, Opening Ceremony (London, LA and NYC), and Très Bien, plus Vans DQM General and Vans by OTH. Authentics and Slip-ons cost 70 euros, Eras 75 euros, and Sk8 models start at 95 euros.
