Depay will wear a soon to be released Under Armour football boot in matches and training and will collaborate with the brand’s design team on the development of football equipment, apparel, and footwear. Depay will also be featured in the brand’s future global marketing campaigns.

Peter Murray, VP of Global Brand and Sports Marketing for Under Armour said, "Memphis is one of the World's best young footballers and is a great addition to our brand's elite athlete roster. His star continues to rise and we're excited to help him reach new heights with our innovative footwear, apparel and digital training tools. He's only 21, but has proven that his explosive and fast style of play combined with his unrelenting will to be great gives him the potential to be a game-changer.  We look forward to working together with Memphis to inspire the next generation of footballers for years to come."

Depay became the breakout star of the 2014 World Cup after being the youngest Dutch player to score a goal in the tournament, ever. He followed up his stellar performance with an extraordinary season in the Netherlands, scoring 21 goals.
