La Redoute names Marie Guillemot new brand director
La Redoute has appointed a new director for the development of its own private labels. The e-commerce brand, which is about to be bought by Galeries Lafayette, recently named Marie Guillemot director of the La Redoute brand.
Guillemot has previously worked for the advertising agency Young & Rubicam and for the Fred & Farid Group, which specialises in digital communication, as a Customer Manager and Consulting Director respectively.
Guillemot will succeed Fabienne Mainguy who held the post for the past three years. After specialising in consulting at MRM Worldwide, a digital agency dedicated to supporting brands, Fabienne Mainguy joined La Redoute in 2012 as a brand strategy and content manager. Two years later, Mainguy was made Director of the brand at the same time as the former catalogue seller was transformed into an e-commerce site. Mainguy left the role at the end of December. When contacted, she stated that she wished to embark on “a new challenge” in mid-January and that all would be revealed when she formally takes office.
