From 2014 to 2021, Lubomira Rochet was chief digital officer of the global beauty giant L'Oréal, and a member of its executive committee. Under her leadership, e-commerce increased and accounted for 27% of the turnover, with an average annual growth of over 45%.

A specialist in digital transformation, Lubomira Rochet began her career in 2000 as a consultant at Unesco before joining consulting specialists CapGemini in 2003. In 2008 she became head of start-up programmes at Microsoft France and two years later joined Valtech, a digital agency focused on business transformation, as managing director.

"We are delighted to welcome Lubomira Rochet to our board of directors. Her deep industry and digital transformation experience will be an invaluable asset to Coty's omnichannel approach," says Sue Y. Nabi, Coty's CEO. Coty reported sales of $1.39 billion in its first quarter 2022/23, which ended September 30.

With the arrival of Lubomira Rochet, Coty's board now has 50% women out of twelve directors. The five-member executive committee, headed by Sue Y. Nabi, is already predominantly female.
