While the big news around the Arcadia sell-off was all about the sale of its star brands, a number of assets remain and those interested in acquiring the final intellectual property assets don’t have long to make their offers.

Companies need to register their interest by a deadline of 4pm on Wednesday (May 26), Hilco Valuation Services (which is handling the sale) has announced.

The assets include the Arcadia name. Also on the block will be the intellectual property and branding of Outift, a retail subsidiary of Arcadia, which was an out-of-town destination offering all of its brands. The chain was closed down and wasn’t one of the brands bought by either ASOS or Boohoo Group, which acquired the other labels between them.

Included are the brands, trademarks and domain names.

Nat Baldwin, MD of Hilco Streambank, said: “The Arcadia name is instantly and internationally recognisable. Before it entered into Administration in November last year, it had been a retail and fashion empire of unprecedented size and scope. Its brands were household names across the UK and internationally and it is anticipated that the sale will generate a remarkable amount of interest from domestic and global enterprises.”
