​Valentino names Daniel Paltridge new CEO Americas

The house of Valentino announced Tuesday the nomination of Daniel Paltridge to be its new CEO Americas, in an appointment already made effective on December 1.

In his new position, Paltridge will report directly to Laurent Bergamo, CCO Americas, Europe, Middle East and Brazil.

"In his role, Daniel will continue to drive the strategy and expansion of the Americas’ market
across retail and wholesale sales channels. In close partnership and synergy with the
headquarter, Daniel will keep leading Americas’ journey along with the implementation of the
client and colleague centric strategy, mastery the Client Journey and leveraging on couture
clienteling and digital transformation," the Rome-based couture house said in a release.

Paltridge is a highly experienced luxury executive whose most recent position was with Bulgari where he had been the president for the Americas for the latest seven years. He started his career as a merchandiser at Marks & Spencer, before embracing a successful retail career at LVMH, where, over a period of 19 years he lead several roles, beginning with Louis Vuitton in Europe and the Americas.
 
“In his new assignment as CEO Americas, Daniel will act as an ambassador of the brand identity, inspiring sense of belonging and company passion, with a specific focus on retail engagement and client centricity,” Valentino added.
