Olivia Kim’s redesign will mark the 45th anniversary of the Nike Cortez running shoe. Her take on the classic shoe will include a pink strip at the shoe’s midsole, as well as her initials imprinted on the shoe’s interior. The shoe will be available at the Nordstrom x Nike sneaker boutiques found in select Nordstrom stores in cities such as Seattle, Vancouver and Chicago.

The shoe will also debut at a special pop-up event called “The Cortez Market” at the corner of La Cienaga and Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Held on Saturday, the event will feature products from brands such as Dr. Collectors, Hansel from Basel, Fair Season Vintage and Jessica Winzelberg and also host a nail bar and food trucks.

Kim joined the Seattle-based department store in 2013 after a stint at Opening Ceremony. She helped Nordstrom establish the store-within-a-store concept that has featured designers such as Alexander Wang, Liberty of London and of course Nike.

The in-store Nike boutique will soon extend to Los Angeles at the Nordstrom store slated to open at the Westfield Century City in the fall.

Following its debut at the Los Angeles pop-up and select Nordstrom stores on Saturday, the Olivia Kim shoe will be available at Nike’s online store starting June 19. Each pair will retail for $120.
