House of Fraser appoints chief marketing officer

House of Fraser boosts its senior management team with the appointment of Paddy Earnshaw as is new chief marketing officer.

Earnshaw will take responsibility for all marketing activities, both online and offline, and will be instrumental in the ongoing development‎ of House of Fraser’s ecommerce offering.

He joins House of Fraser from Doddle, the parcel service delivering Asos, Coast, Banana Republic, Missguided and more to 91 locations nationwide.

Earnshaw started his career at Travelex as UK retail marketing manager, before taking on the role of group head of marketing and communications and subsequently customer director. He held a number of additional senior marketing positions including chief customer officer at Worldpay, with responsibility for 40% of the UK’s daily card transactions. 

“Paddy brings a wealth of digital, retail and online experience to House of Fraser and is one of the brightest, most innovative marketeers in our sector with a strong track record of delivering results at pace,” said HoF CEO Alex Williamson.

“He has always shown a real focus on customers in his previous roles and will bring a huge amount to our overall customer proposition. Paddy has worked in entrepreneurial environments throughout his career with significant competition for every customer, where both detail and creativity are vital. With his strong skills and experience, Paddy will be a valuable asset to our transformation programme.”
