In August of this year, Hunkemöller unveiled four stores in Moscow, Russia. Later this year, the retailer will open three additional stores in the Russian capital.

In Norway, Hunkemöller set up shop at the Jessheim shopping centre in late August, while the Poland-based branches are located at Designer Outlet Warszawa in Piaseczno, just outside of Warsaw, and Annopol Outlet in Warsaw.

Hunkemöller said that it has opened about 100 new stores in 2017, including its first branch in Switzerland. The retailer added that the growth resulted in an increase in new customers, which led to the decision to further roll out in new markets in the coming years.

In addition to its international expansion, Hunkemöller has also recently landed at the Netherlands’ Schiphol Airport, where it has opened a store at the arrival hall.

Hunkemöller was founded in Amsterdam in 1886. Today, the lingerie retailer operates about 900 stores in 25 countries. The lingerie chain is currently market leader in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. Furthermore, Hunkemöller is Europe's largest and fastest growing lingerie brand.
