London Fashion Week stalwart Christopher Kane is opening a second London standalone store this week with news of a small pop-up at 15 Old Bond Street.

The label confirmed to Fashion Network that the store will stay open until the end of this year and will sell its key high-end runway pieces as well as its more RTW commercial styles. It will also carry exclusives from the SS17 collection as well as the brand’s accessories offer.

The 50 sq m space is decorated in the brand’s signature neutral palette with glass accents with the design reflecting the much larger Mount Street flagship store, which opened not far away in Mayfair during 2015.

Like the flagship, the pop-up is expected to host special cultural and sales events during this year.

While Mount Street remains the brand’s key focus, the Old Bond Street site, which has housed Bottega Venerta and Tod’s before now, is a major movie for the brand.

It is in the middle of one of London’s busiest luxury streets. And with London currently being a magnet for luxury shopping tourists from China, Russia, the US and the Middle East due to the weak pound, the company has a golden opportunity to boost sales. It could also draw in new customers from both local London shoppers and foreign visitors.
