The Connected hybrid smartwatch collection is comprised of smartwatches equipped with the latest wearable technology. The new styles can sync to a smartphone via Bluetooth, and set time automatically, send phone notifications, monitor steps, control music, ring your phone if it's lost and track sleep.

In addition to the wearable technology capabilities, the Connected hybrids can schedule alarms and display a second time zone.

Prior to Armani Exchange entering the wearables market, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger and Juicy Couture launched smartwatches in October 2016, as well as brother brand Emporio Armani.

Michael Kors also launched a new smartwatch in fall 2016, and Rebecca Minkoff announced in November a partnership with Movado to produce men’s and women’s smartwatches that will launch in summer 2017.

The Armani Exchange Connected hybrid smartwatches will launch in February 2017.
